Let’s find your best fit!

The best way to work out if one of my pieces will fit you is to compare your unique body measurements with the listed garment measurements.

finding your Unique body measurements

Finding your unique body measurements is as easy as following the instructions below. Just grab a flexible/soft measuring tape, paper + pen to record and you’re good to go.

(Please note that I have only included measurement instructions relevant to the style of garments that I make).

  • Measure around the fullest part of your chest with your arms by your side. Make sure you take the measurement with your bra on.

  • Measure around your natural waistline (this should be the narrowest part of your torso).

  • Measure around the widest part of your hips (around your bum).

  • Measure from your shoulder (where your seam sits), over the front of your bust and down to your waist.

  • Measure from your waist directly to the point at which you want your hemline to sit.

  • Measure from the top of your arm down to your wrist.

Garment Measurements

Whenever I list a garment for sale, I will write the garment measurements in the listing. The garment measurements are the approximate dimensions (in cm) of the garment as it is laying flat (i.e., not being worn on a body). The garment measurements will loosely correspond with certain standard Australian sizes (e.g. 10, 12, 14 etc) and I’ll write those standard sizes down in the listing as well, as a recommendation for fit.

Obviously, we are not all the same shape and size - you may be a size 10 bust with size 12 hips, for example. This is why it’s so important to know your own unique body measurements AND the garment measurements.
