THE WORK
-
Pieces by Jenna is a creative studio exploring the connections between art and everyday life. I create varied collections of original art and objects that are designed to bring a sense of beauty, wonder, joy and creative expression into the spaces we live in and the experiences we share with others. My hope is that each piece finds a person it resonates with, and becomes part of someone’s story for years to come.
-
Yes. Every painting is an original artwork created by me, and every object is thoughtfully designed and hand-crafted by me, in my home studio. From painting and sewing, to design and fabrication, every piece begins with an idea that is brought to life by me. I don’t mass produce my work, and each piece I make is one of one - so you can rest assured that these pieces are made with care and are truly unique.
-
No. Each piece that I create is one of one, which is part of the appeal for many collectors. To preserve the value and quality of each unique piece, I can’t make any replicas or exact copies of anything that has sold. However, if you really fall in love with something that is no longer available, please reach out to me - I’m happy to work with you to create something completely original for you that has a similar feeling or vibe.
-
No. I don’t reproduce my original paintings or create prints, because I believe in preserving their value for whoever collects them. Each original painting is truly one-of-one, never to be offered again.
When someone connects with a painting deeply enough to welcome it into their home, it has already become part of that person’s unique life story. In honour of that connection, I choose to let each painting belong solely to the person who collects it.
-
Yes. I am open to commissioned work between collection launches. I have limited availability for custom work, but I am always happy to hear from you if you’re interested in a bespoke piece and want to chat about your ideas. Please email me at piecesbyjenna@outlook.com to check availability and find out more about the commission process.
-
SO MANY! Usually they are listed in the individual product descriptions. If you’d like to know more about how a particular piece was made, please reach out.
-
Yes. Every single original painting that I ship out comes to you ready to hang - that means it’s already framed, with D rings and wire at the back ready to go. All you need to do is find a spot on your wall for it!
-
Yes. All of my original paintings are sold with signed certificates of authenticity, so that you have peace of mind about the originality, quality and origin of the art you’re collecting.

Great question. Every single one of the pieces available on this site has been carefully, thoughtfully and intentionally designed and made by hand, not on an assembly line. I draw upon decades of experience, skill and training across several disciplines to make the creative decisions that result in a final, polished work that I believe to be of excellent quality.
Each piece takes hours to design/plan, create, photograph and put out there. Some pieces can take up to 50 hours of making! I am just one person - which ensures a cohesive creative vision, but also means that a lot of labour is on me.
While the kind of work I create demands a lot of my time, I also believe that beautiful art should be accessible to those who love it. I endeavour to keep my prices fair for everyone.
My hope is that each piece truly resonates with someone - becoming part of their everyday experience and enjoyment for years to come. Rather than creating more and creating quickly, I aim to create things that are worth keeping.
SHIPPING
-
Yes. Shipping is free Australia-wide, yay! For certain exceptionally large or bulky items, I may need to charge an extra shipping fee - but usually this will be written in the product description if applicable.
Some pieces cannot be shipped and are available to local collectors only (such as very large furniture items). Again, please check the product listing description for this information before purchase.
-
No. Unfortunately, not at the moment. As my studio grows, I hope to offer international shipping in the future. You can join the mailing list to be first to know if/when it becomes available.
-
Ready-made pieces are typically dispatched within 2-4 business days, and you’ll receive a dispatch notice with a tracking number to your nominated email address so that you can keep an eye out for your item. Actual postage timelines vary depending on where you are in Australia! Please let me know if you need Express shipping of your item.
If you’ve purchased a custom item or are waiting on a commission, the process varies quite a bit - I’ll talk you through the terms as part of that process so you know exactly what to expect.
-
Yes. All parcels are assigned a tracking number so that you can keep an eye out for your piece to arrive!
At the time of dispatch, you’ll receive an email letting you know your tracking number and postal carrier.
-
I will certainly do everything in my power to make sure that it is! All items are carefully wrapped (usually in multiple layers), packaged thouroughly and shipped with insurance covering their full value in the rare instance that they are lost or damaged in transit.
Particularly fragile items are wrapped in multiple layers of foam and bubble wrap and clearly marked for handlers - I don’t take chances with one-of-a-kind work!
-
Yes. Every single piece that I send via post is shipped with insurance covering its full value in the rare instance that your parcel is lost or damaged in transit.
-
No. At this stage, I’m unable to offer in-person collection. All orders are carefully packaged and shipped or delivered locally to you. If your order requires local delivery (as in the case of bulky furniture items), I will arrange a suitable delivery time with you after purchase.
-
No. Since each piece is completely one of a kind, I generally do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind - please make sure you discern your purchase carefully! However, if your order arrives damaged for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible (within 24 hours of receiving your package) and I’ll do what I can to resolve the issue.
PAYMENTS
-
At the moment, I am able to accept credit/debit card payments, digital wallet payments such as Google pay, and bank transfers.
Payment methods can be chosen at checkout, or you can message me to arrange a private transfer if that’s preferable.
-
No, not at this time. Payment is required in full at the time of purchase (with the exception of private commissions which have their own terms). As my studio grows, I may introduce additional payment options in the future.
-
No, not at the moment - but as my studio grows this is an option I’d love to be able to offer in future.
If you’re looking to purchase a piece as a gift in the meantime, feel free to get in touch - I’d be happy to help you choose something special.
-
No, I don’t offer discounts at the moment - although if I ever do, my email list will be the first to know about it… so you should definitely sign up ;)
My work is priced fairly for the amount of hours, experience and care I put into it, and as such all prices are firm.

This studio is still in its early days, so I’m still figuring it out. There will be at least 4 themed collections per year - the details will come later.
The best way to keep updated with collection launches is to subscribe to my email newsletter, which you can do at the bottom of this page under the section titled ‘Enter the studio’.

It depends on how busy life is! While I’m working on a collection or a custom commission, new works will be released less often / more slowly. But in between collection releases and commissions, I hope to be able to bring new pieces to the site more regularly.
